The SST Card (Site Safety Training Card) is a mandatory requirement to work on construction projects in New York City. This certification demonstrates that you have completed the safety training required by Local Law 196.
What is the SST Card?
The SST Card is a site safety training card required by the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB). This card is mandatory for all workers and supervisors at construction sites.
Important: Without this card, you cannot legally work on construction projects in NYC. It is a requirement of Local Law 196.
